(Summer) Operated by John Johnson, it is located in a former stables building at 355 Newbury Street. The store expands in 1949, opens the Johnson Art Supply Store within it in 1956. The oldest retail establishment on Newbury Street, it is today operated by the third generation of the Johnson family.
